What to Expect
We know that visiting a new church can sometimes feel intimidating. But whether you are 20 or 70, single or married, a family with young children or grown children, we have something for everyone.
Here are answers to a few questions that should help make your first visit as easy and comfortable as possible.
When should I arrive?
Check our WORSHIP page for service times and locations.
Relationships are foundational here, so we recommend coming 10 minutes before the start of service in order to get to know others. Services typically last 45-60 minutes. Many stay after worship for additional fellowship and perhaps to grab some coffee or a snack. We understand that people are very busy, but we also greatly desire to spend time in worship, in the Word, in ministry, and in fellowship.
What happens on a Sunday?
During our worship, you can expect sermons straight from the Bible that you can apply to your life. We will hear directly from the scriptures, sing and pray together.
What do you do for kids?
We care about our kids at New Life. We offer a Sunday School which runs from September through May at the Central campus. Check out our CONNECT page for more information.
What should I wear?
We are a "come as you are" crowd so you can see everything from suits to jeans.
Don't stress about what to wear - we are just happy to have you.
What kind of music will there be?
We provide a variety of music depending on the service style, liturgy and season. Our musical directors provide full, spiritual music on our organ and we also make us of our piano. Additionally, we have special performances by soloists, adult & youth choirs, and instrumentalists. There are also brass, string, and hand bell music ensembles that play music for our worship services regularly.
What if I'm not sure about Christianity?
Great! That's why we started this church. Come and experience how God can transform your life.
Can I attend if ___________?
Fill in the blank with any insecurity, personal history, etc. and know that New Life is a place for all different ages and walks of life. It's okay to not be okay--God loves you no matter what, and we do too!
We would be honored if you share an hour with us this weekend!
It's hard to get to know a church based only on its website. Feel free to reach out to us so that we can share more about our church family with you. E-mail our church office at email@example.com.
